General comments related to my research journey into digital engagement.
The Fifteenth Humanities Graduate Research Conference 12 – 14 November 2014, Curtin University, Perth Feeling a little down – I have decided that I should not attend the conference as my offline time has set me back re my thesis. I am having to work overtime to make up the missed 6 months. The pressure is all self
The accident has left me with a broken left shoulder and right hand. using one left finger to type – on heavy pain meds so cant think. have to take 6 months off.
Had a great time at the Curtin conference. Presentation went well with good questions from the floor. Have a few days break in Perth then off to the Mensa Conference. Their theme is ‘sustainability’ and it looks like they have some good speakers.
All done and I still have time to work on the conferences. Amazing what can be done with scheduling.

Attended this workshop at Macquarie University. It was realy good and gave me a lot to think about in relation to Viktor Mayer-Schönberger insights on memory in the digital environment. There is something more to memory than meets the eye. You have to consider the way memories work within the individual as well as within the environment.
Presentation went well. Helen Merrick attended which was great because Matthew Allen was away. There were some good questions but I do need to reduce the amount I want to convey in presentations. Power Point presentation for “The Impact of Digital Network Technology.”
