What happens when you have spent your life thinking logically, in an ordered fashion, and dealt with big and small issues in a structured way. then suddenly that structure is taken away from you when you retire.

This section of my website is dedicated to the art group that I run. In these sessions I use painting/sculpture, delicious food and stimulating conversation to release the creative flow in a group of people who have spent their life immersed in a logical presentation of their creativity: In academia. Two of the group had dabbled in painting, one in photography, and two had never touched anything in the arts. This meant that skill level was little to none at the start but self-criticism and judgement was off the charts.

It has taken a while but the progress has been fantastic. They are all at different skill levels but all are experiencing the pleasure of creative flow. If you click on the following links you will be taken to their page where you can share their journey and the experiences they have had.
